Automate AI Music on Your Own PC with Demodokos Foundry

AI-generated audio with Demodokos.

Learn how to make AI music in bulk with Demodokos Foundry Professional. Write one row per song, start one command, and Foundry writes, generates and names every track while you do something else. In the recorded run, 8 rows became 16 finished tracks in 47 minutes on one PC. The tutorial shows both ways: your own AI agent with the agent skills that ship with Foundry, or a song list and one small script that you can download below.

Get the script

The script from the video is one small file. It brings its own song list, a page that opens in your browser, so you need nothing else.

Download make_songs.ps1

One file, 35 KB, for Windows PowerShell. It is plain text: open it in any editor and read every line before you run it.

What you need

  • A Windows PC with Demodokos Foundry.
  • The Professional plan, the one that includes automation. The 7 day trial gives you all Professional features.
  • Nothing else. The control tool ships inside Foundry, and PowerShell is part of Windows.

Two ways to put Foundry to work

Your own AI agent. Foundry comes with a folder of agent skills. It is inside your Foundry folder: documentation\agent_skills. Point your agent at that folder (any agent that can run commands on your Windows PC), tell it in plain words what you want, and it runs Foundry for you. There is nothing to download for this way.

A list and a script. You write one row per song and start one command. The script works through the list. The steps below show this way.

1. Start the script once to get the list

Save make_songs.ps1 into a folder of its own. Start Foundry and open a project. Then open PowerShell in that folder and run this line:

powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\make_songs.ps1 -Takes 2

The first time, the script writes the song list into that folder and opens it in your browser.

2. Write one row per song

Each row is one song: a title, the language, vocals or no vocals, and a brief. The brief can be as exact as you like, with tempo and key, or just a direction. When the list is ready, press Save songs.csv.

A brief can be this loose

Slow piano ballad about leaving home, female voice, hopeful ending.

3. Run the same line again

The script finds your running Foundry by itself. If it cannot, it stops and tells you how to name the folder. Then Foundry makes every song on the list, two takes each. You do not have to stay at the PC. The script prints one line per step, so you can see how far it is, and it copies every finished track into a songs folder.

What happens for every song

Behind every track are three commands of the control tool that ships with Foundry:

  • Agent. The Creative AI Agent turns your brief into a full caption and lyrics.
  • Generate. Foundry's music engine builds the track on your own graphics card.
  • Keep. The track gets its name, stays on the timeline and is saved as a file.

If one song fails, the script notes it and goes on with the next row.

Why two takes

No two generations are the same. With two takes of every song you listen once and keep the better one. Change the number with -Takes.

The numbers from the video

The run in the video made 16 tracks from 8 rows in 46 minutes and 38 seconds on one PC: 8 genres, lyrics in 2 languages. Your times depend on your graphics card.

More than generate

The same control tool reaches the rest of the studio: the timeline, the mixer and 32 effects.

Your music stays yours

The list, the script and the generation all run on your own PC. Prompts, creative inputs, and generated outputs are never transmitted to our servers, and Demodokos Foundry does not monitor, inspect, record, or log the content you create.
